West
Valley Detention Center was opened in 1991. The jail is one
of the most secured and highly sophisticated detention center
in California. The West Valley Jail has a capacity to house
approximately 3,000 to 4,000 inmates daily.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department have over
500 safety, general and medical employees to provide for
the security, safety
and
basic
needs
of the inmate
population.
In full compliance with the regulations set forth by the
California State Board of Corrections, West Valley Detention
Center's goal is to provide the community of Rancho Cucamonga
protection by maintaing a secured, safe, humane, and just
environment
within
the jail.
BAIL BOND INFORMATION
West Valley Jail accept cash or bail bonds.
Bail Bonds need to be issued by a state approved bail bond
agency.
The personnel of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department
are prohibited from endorsing or recommending any specific
bail bond agency.
VISITING INFORMATION
All visits may be scheduled by phone, 24
hours in advance, from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday through
Saturday. Inmated are allowed one visit per day with a maximum
of five guests. Visiting days are Wednesday through Sunday
from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Visitors must arrive 20 minutes
prior to their scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be
admitted.
Inmates under special classifications may have a different
set of visiting guidelines.

ACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATION
All visitors 18 years and older must have a valid government
issued identification card such as Department of Motor Vehicles
ID or Driver's License, County or State Employee ID, Military
ID and/or US passport.

at the Adelanto Detention Center, West

Central Detention Center, you will need the assistance
of a licensed
California bail
bond agent.
The San Bernardino County jails will
only accept bonds from a licensed bail bond agent who
can show proof of his San Bernardino, California license.
